Indoor Outdoor Activities | PE 13
This class is designed to teach basic fitness activities to help promote a wellness lifestyle. The activities vary based on the time of the year and weather conditions. They may include, but are not limited to badminton, basketball, cycling/spinning, flag football, hockey, jogging/running, pickle ball, soccer, softball, tennis, ultimate frisbee and/or volleyball.
Objectives:

To explore, identify and assess opportunities and benefits derived from participation in physical activities.

To increase flexibility.

To improve muscular strength and endurance.

To enhance cardiovascular fitness.

To demonstrate teamwork and cooperation.
Grading Criteria:
-
Unit study guides, worksheets & quizzes.
-
Dress out and fully participate in all games and conditioning activities.
-
Complete PLC's pre & post testing: mile, pacer, push-ups, sit-ups and sit&reach.
